HOW TO MAKE SMART HOME APPOINTMENT BOOKING?

You may book your smart home appointment slot from iPlus -> My Smart Home Journey -> Appointment date to setup smart home gateway. Please refer to the “Smart Home Setup Appointment Booking” user manual in the iPlus APP document section for more information.

WHERE CAN I BUY ADDITIONAL SMART HOME DEVICES?

You may access our online store from “Smart Home” tab in “Home Services”.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE SMART HOME USER MANUALS?

The Smart Home user manuals can be found in iPlus APP document section.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY USERNAME AND PASSWORD?

Connect your mobile and gateway to the same Local Area Network (LAN). You may change the username and password in gateway setting->admin->login.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE FORGOTTEN THE PASSWORD?
  1. If your mobile and gateway is in the same Local Area Network (LAN), you may try changing the password in gateway setting->admin->login.
  2. Please press the Reset button for five seconds.
        Default video-play password is “fermax” (lowercase).
        Administration account is “admin”.

Default administration password is empty (leave blank).

CAN MULTIPLE PEOPLE ACCESS MY SMART HOME?

Yes, the maximum number of people is 5.

HOW DO I CREATE SCENES?

iPlus

  1. In the iPlus app, click on “My Smart Home Journey” under “My Home” on the home page.
  2. Click on “Scenes” at the bottom bar.
  3. Click on the “+” at the upper right corner of the screen to add a new scene.

    HOW DO I ADD USERS?
    1. In the iPlus app, click on “My Smart Home Journey” under “My Home” on the home page.
    2. Click on “More” at the bottom bar.
    3. Click on “User Management”.
    4. Click on the “+” at the upper right corner of the screen to add users.

    HOW MANY PRESET VIEWING POSITIONS AM I ABLE TO SAVE?

    Users can preset up to 5 camera viewing positions. This feature allows user to easily pan/tilt the camera instead of manually pan/tilt the camera in the app.

    HOW DO I SAVE A PRESET VIEWING POSITION?

    iPlus

    1. In the iPlus app, click on “My Smart Home Journey” under “My Home” on the home page.
    2. Under “Camera”, click on the camera you wish to configure its preset.
    3. Click on the icon (roundabout arrows enclosed in a circle) at the bottom left corner of the screen.
    4. Move the camera view to your desired view and press “SET” to save the angle.
    5. The coordinates will be shown beside it. You can name each preset for better reference.
    6. To swap to a different preset, click on “GOTO”.
    HOW DO I ADD DEVICES?

    iPlus

    1. In the iPlus app, click on “My Smart Home Journey” under “My Home” on the home page.
    2. Click on “Devices” at the bottom bar.
    3. Click on “+“ at the upper right corner of the screen to add a new device.

      WHAT ARE SCENES?
      Scenes are settings for devices in which they will follow a specific action if a specific event occurs, where each element is chosen by the user.

      WHAT ARE ROOMS?

      Rooms can be created for easier management of devices.

      HOW DO I ADD ROOMS?

      iPlus

      1. In the iPlus app, click on “My Smart Home Journey” under “My Home” on the home page.
      2. Click on “More” at the bottom bar.
      3. Click on “Rooms”.
      4. In the “Rooms” page, there will already be a category named “unassigned”. This is where devices not assigned to any room can be found.
      5. Click on “+” at the upper right corner of the screen to add rooms.
      6. A text window will appear, enter the name you want for the room.
      7. After creation, add devices to the room. Please note that you are only able to add unassigned devices to a room.

        WHAT IF THE GATEWAY SHOW OFFLINE?

        First check gateway red LED light. It should be stable. If red LED is blinking, check the Wi-Fi / LAN connection. 

        1. (Wi-Fi connection) Gateway connects 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network only.
        2. (LAN connection) Check if the LAN cable is plug in properly on both ends (Router & Gateway).

         Check that the latest APP version is installed.

         Next step please power off and on the Gateway and then wait for one to two minute until the gateway reboot and the red LED become stable. Try and connect to the Gateway with the app again.
